Welcome to Crane Wines
Crane Wines is a small, friendly, family owned and operated boutique winery, B&B and vineyard. The grand old colonial homestead, and the quaint cellar door are perched high on the Booie Range, with breathtaking views east over the valley. Cranes is situated just 10 kms from Kingaroy in the beautiful South Burnett region of South East Queensland (map). With warm days and cool nights, the climate is similar to the Hunter Valley region of NSW, and is always several degrees cooler than Brisbane, and without the humidity of our steamy capital.
Cranes was the very first winery to open it's doors in this young but growing wine region, and so can rightly claim the distinction of the "South Burnett's Premier Winery and Cellar Door". We offer visitors "a wine to suit all palates", in sweet, dry, sparkling and fortified styles. Many medals and trophys have been won over the years. On most days you can meet the winemaker and find answers to all the questions about winemaking you have always wanted to ask, and you can meet the Dylan, the winery's greeting dog who will meet you, tail a-wagging, in the car park and escort you to the cellar door (where he will either rub against you for pats, or roll on his back for tummy scratches).
At the Cellar Door wine lovers are offered a taste of our current range, while non wine drinkers browse the large range of home made jams and chutneys and other tasty treats, and try some of the popular natural moisturisers made on the property. Visitors are welcome also to relax on the porch, enjoying their choice of wine with one of Crane's legendary gourmet platters, while watching the wrens and finches playing in the gardens.

Your hosts Bernie and Judy Cooper
